A TBD User's Guide to Indys.com

Postby M MD on Fri Oct 02, 2009 3:19 pm

Indys.com is one of many internet website choices that hobbyists and providers have available to them in regards to the hobby. TBD, TER, Escorts.com, ASPD, and AfterHoursCentral are some of the other major players in this arena. It's safe to say that every one of those escort sites has a set of basic features (e.g. advertisements, PMs, discussion, reviews, etc.) ~ albeit ~ doing it on those sites may be different than how you do it on Indys.com or a feature might be called something different on that other site.

We've heard that there is a little bit of a learning curve with getting used to Indys. I unfortunately am blind to that because I do nothing but "Indys" - so I know how to tell you how to do something here - but I have no idea what they have on other escort sites and how you do things over there.

That being said, I'd like to tap into the knowledge or our members - members that have used TBD and also now use Indys - and share with other members of TBD how the same thing is accomplished on Indys.

In other words, this post is here for our members to help other members who are trying out Indys for the first time and don't know how to do __fill-in-the-blank__ here that they are used to doing on TBD.

Feel free to discuss anything on this thread that helps members from TBD get acquainted with Indys.com in a faster / more streamlined manner to help them speed up the learning curve. Last but not least, please do not use this thread to bash any other site - this thread is designed to help members use the site more efficiently and in a faster manner.

Thanks in advance - MMD

Example:
ASPD has a "Welcome Wagon" forum for each city.

The description of the Welcome Wagon forum is "Where newcomers, male or female, may introduce themselves to the community; ask and obtain answers to any question, and suffer no flames."

On Indys.com, there is only one forum for that - it is the Come Here First!! forum.

I've probably been on TBD as long as anyone here...I'll try to write something up as soon as I have some time.

Just registered on this site at the suggestion of one of the gorgeous ladies here that I recently met. YEP, there does appear to be a learning curve to figuring out how to use this web site. I'll take my time and browse it thoroughly. It does appear that once you learn your way around, the benefits will be great. Looking forward to having some great times.

Post the alerts here. Best way to get the moderators attention is to do something wrong - at least from what I can tell.
