For the last time I can't stand Nutting and do not in any way support or endorse what he is doing at all but I still love my favorite team and will follow it to the bitter end this season. Ok Steeler I won't go to any games this season so I don't put money in his pocket but I'm not going to stop watching the game on t.v. or listen to it on the radio for to do that will have no effect on his bottom line but will just hurt me. There you go are you happy now?

Only problem is when you watch on TV you are supporting Nutting. TV ratings put money in his pocket. Tough crowd huh?! lol :)
I'm not real complicated. If you provide BBBJ2CIMWS and foot rubs..... Please PM me.

Lol duuuuude. Bring mouthwash and remember no teeth :drink: lol we'd have the fat security guys chasin us around. Hell I'm in.

Steeler fortunately for both of us (more you than me), the Bucs aren't even going to get a whiff of 8 games over. But know this, if by some miracle they do, you can bet these boys here will remind us of this. (They're like that) :D

If they solidify pitching and don't get off to their obligatory horrendous start in April and May, then I think they could hover around 500

Well that isn't hard to do when they can't beat Milwaukee and the Reds who owns them every year

Today's the day we've been waiting for true believers pitchers and catchers report to spring training in Bradenton. I know the season will probably be a below .500 disappointment but on this cold snowy February day hope springs eternal. Let's Go Bucs!

... Crikey! ... There's Estaban Loisia - a former
Pirates baseballer from years ago, who got
himself caught by the Police for having
a lot of illegal and bad drugs in his car.

Reckon that he surely must o' been
under-payed by the Pirates also
- and had to take-to selling dopes
and what-not just to scratch-out a living. :?

... Wonder if the bloke will be allowed
to play on the prison softball team?

This team still has some really good young arms in the minors tnat are major league ready for some time the philosophy was to draft studs to pitch. Pirates need to bring these guys north and forget about a later callup. Bam is right under hurdle this team sucks coming out of the gate. A strong April and May could allow them to be competitive. I’m not saying great but competitive. I will digress a bit. I think management bought into everyone in mlb views about the pirates minor league system and that’s why they didn’t pull the trigger with the cubs for their two stud pitchers. Word was they were interested in meadows and Glasnow —- In hindsight we fucked up
Another aside - I wish we would sign JD Martinez for 2years

Finally a move. The Pirates got all star outfielder Corey Dickerson from Tampa Bay and in the process unloaded Daniel Hudson. Also going to the Rays a minor leaguer and 1 million dollars. This along with slugging minor league outfielder Bryce Brentz bolsters the outfield after the loss of McCutcheon. First exhibition game is tomorrow I'm pumped. Let's see what the final opening day roster is like before we pass judgement. Let's Go Bucs!

I saw that - I think it was a good move for sure in moving Hudson
let's hope Dickerson rebounds

Listening to my first exhibition game of the year against the Yankees and at least for the next few hours all is right with the world. The bad feelings from last year melt away due to the welcome back of spring baseball. It won't be this year but one year soon I gotta go down to Florida and take in some games. I'm curious has anyone out there visited spring training and if so how was the experience.

... Amazing!

... Surely seem that all it takes is ONE DEAL
and all the dissenters are quickly back-onto
the Pirate's "band-wagon" once again. :?

... Blimey! ... If Bob Nutting was a Magician
- he'd be sayin' - "... And now for me next trick..."

:? :(

Never been a dissenter and never been off the bandwagon. I've been through 100 loss seasons and my love for the Pirates has never wavered. Went through the drug trials of the 80s never lost faith. I may grumble and complain about them from time to time and I hate Nutting with a passion but it's been my team for 48 years and that's not gonna change until the day I die and I'm buried in my pirates paraphernalia. Let's Go Bucs!
